Q: What are the attendance procedures?
A: To report a full-day absence, early release (appointments, etc.), or a late arrival we have 2 options for parents to use.
- You may call the attendance line at 262-789-6410 prior to 9:00 a.m. and leave your name and relationship to the student, your child's name, the reason for the absence, and a phone number in case we need to contact you. If you are taking your child out for an appointment, be sure to state the time you are picking him/her up and if he/she will be returning to school.
- You may report the absence using the parent portal through Infinite Campus. You can login to your parent portal to request absences and you will see confirmation when the attendance has been processed. You may also download the app to your phone for convenience.
If your child becomes ill during the school day, they should ask their teacher to go to the health room (143). Our health room aide will contact a parent/guardian to determine if the child should be picked up from school.
Q: Why does my child need to bring their student ID to school every day?
A: Student IDs are used to take Digital Attendance during flex, study halls, and open campus. Students will scan their IDs each day. If a student does not bring their ID to school they will receive a warning from the office. If the student forgets their ID more than once, they will be issued a new ID and charged $5.00. Students may pay with cash or the charge will be added to their Infinite Campus fees account.
