Every summer, in the month of August, New Berlin West holds two different orientations to introduce new students to the school.

Middle School Prep Camp

Thursday, August 15th, from 8:00a.m.-12:00 p.m. 
All Incoming 7th graders from both public and parochial schools are invited to the Middle School Prep Academy to prepare for their first year of Middle School.
Families should start to receive an invitation with a request to RSVP during 2nd semester of the prior year to the start of 7th grade.

This will help familiarize them with the school, the teachers, and school procedures. Students will remain in small groups for duration of their time in the building. 

If your student cannot attend on August 15, they may attend the New Viking Orientation on Tuesday, August 20th. Details can be found below.

New Viking Orientation

Tuesday, August 20th from 8:00a.m.- 11:00a.m.
All new students, grades 8-12, are invited to the New Viking Orientation where they will meet other new students that are transferring from outside schools, become familiar with the building, lockers, & class schedules, learn about extra-curricular activities, and have the opportunity to ask questions.
