Art Club

Reagan's Art Club allows 3rd-5th grade students to have more time for creating art. In our weekly meetings, we will be creating projects different than what is planned during our regular art classes. We will have time to explore building projects, fabric batik, mosaics, clay techniques, plus so much more.

Choir

The Ronald Reagan Choir is established to perform a variety of repertoire for our school, our parents, and our community twice a year. We accomplish this goal with two daytime concerts for our school, two evening concerts for our parents, and two field trips into our community at December and May. The two community concerts allow choristers the opportunity to perform as a soloist, in an ensemble and in a large group as stated in the state standards and benchmarks for chorus. There is no participation fee. All materials are provided for the choristers.

News Team

Rise and Shine, Eagles is our morning news show at Ronald Reagan Elementary. Our teams comprise fifth and sixth-grade students, holding various positions behind the scenes and in front of the cameras. Students “apply” for these positions and are trained before producing a news show. They write, perform, and broadcast their scripts in a television news format under the guidance of Ronald Reagan's staff. The students learn about teamwork, hard work, and commitment. Positions include anchors, director, scriptwriter, computer tech, camera tech, sound and switcher.
