All fourth, fifth and sixth grade students who would like the opportunity to do some extra singing are invited to join choir. The choir meets Tuesday mornings before school throughout the year. We focus on singing and perform two concerts. Contact music teacher Mrs. Polak with questions.

Student Council is comprised of students from grades 5-6. Our members are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others within our school setting and with outreach to others in the community. Student Council members support the community through food drives, toy drives and pop tab collections. They support our school by running activities for staff appreciation and student spirit days.  To apply for student council contact Mrs. Calvino or Mrs. Rasmussen.

Poplar Creek's Newspaper club meets on Monday mornings and works together to publish our school newspaper PC Press. Students research information, conduct interviews, create cartoons and learn skills necessary for publishing a school newspaper.  Contact Mrs. Shumaker for more information.

Poplar Creek partners with Futura Language Professionals. Futura is comprised of dynamic language professionals dedicated to the instruction of Spanish language and the cultures it represents. Mad Science is organized by an outside company for interested students. Classes run weekly, per semester.
