• Step 2. Follow the steps on the IC Absence Request document. 

• Step 3. Follow up with your school’s attendance administrator assistant to provide them with a medical excuse or educational experience document to get your absence exempt.

If your student is absent the entire day, will arrive late to school or needs a permit to leave the building early, please call the attendance hotline 262-789-6310 by 9:00 a.m.

Please leave the following information when you call:

• Your full name & relationship to the child
• Your child's full name and grade
• Reason for absence
• If you are taking your child out for an appointment, be sure to state the time you are picking him/her up and if he/she will be returning to school
