The ACT® college readiness assessment is a curriculum- and standards-based educational and career planning tool that assesses students' academic readiness for college.
The ACT suite consists of three tests, PreACT Secure is given at grades 9 and 10, and ACT Plus Writing at grade 11. The ACT suite makes the system an effective tool to monitor academic progress and student growth.
Benefits
The ACT motivates students to perform to their best ability. Test scores reflect what students have learned throughout high school and provide excellent information to measure student achievement and growth over time.
Students are tested in English, Math, Reading, Writing and Science.
